Mrs Clare Marsh

Dr Clare Marsh was very good, explained my surgery with lots of detail and had a very calm voice which made me feel less anxious for my surgery. she was very understanding of my concerns and addressed them accordingly. I would definitively recommend her as she is a fantastic Doctor.

I had Mrs Clare Marsh, oh my gosh she was a complete breath of fresh air. I’ve been in gynae for numerous appointments over the past few years and she was the first doctor I’ve had who has taken my anxiety seriously and has not been frustrated about it. She made me feel so at ease and was great. Clare read my information prior to the appointment and collected me from the waiting area (the first time I have had a consultant do this instead of the nurse!) Clare explained the risks and asked if I wanted to know the detail of what she was doing, then respected my choice not to hear about it. If I could pick my doctor, Clare would be my instant pick. She was brilliant and as weird as it sounds I couldn’t stop thanking them for such a positive appointment given the circumstances.

Clare was very professional and personable. She checked I understood the information she was giving and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. I was a bit apprehensive about the procedure, but Clare put me at ease & used a local anaesthetic. I suffered brief discomfort, but Clare carried out the procedure quickly and efficiently and my appointment didn’t feel rushed. I was very happy with the service I received.

Admittedly nervous about the procedure but no need with Clare and her team as they put me at ease . Did not feel pressured to hurry with the consult and my questions were answered fully along with the procedural process . 100% informed of process and post procedure expectations ! Thanks to all for taking care of me so well xxx

I just wanted to say thankyou for probably the best consultant appointment I have ever had! From the first 5 seconds - you used your name (not 'Dr') and asked me my preferred name (underrated in importance). I had come expecting there to be nothing you could do, but you explained clearly the options I had; what to try first and what else could be done if that didn't work. I felt listened to, respected for my lived experience and came out with some hope. Thankyou

Clare discussed endometriosis diagnosis with me and added me onto the waiting list. I found Clare to be kind and very reassuring, she listened and helped me to better understand my gynaecological issues. Her and the nurses at the RBH replaced my Mirena IUD and really took the time to ensure I was comfortable. I am very grateful to Clare and the RBH.
