I underwent surgery in the summer of 2018, and in light of the current circumstances I felt that I should again thank Dr Lixenfeld and his team for their support and care shown to me throughout my treatment plan, they are indeed a credit to themselves, their professions and the NHS. God bless you all, your families and those close to you, and may you all stay safe.

Mr Lixenfeld and his team went above and beyond to see me sooner than scheduled as my operation had been cancelled due to the current virus out break. During this difficult time he still listened to my concerns, reassured me and did the best with the resources he had. I want to truly thank Mr Lixenfeld and the rest of the team at Chorley Orthopaedic clinic for the care and kindness that was extended to me. I am extremely grateful that given the circumstances they let my sister also attend the appointment as my advocate. Mr Lixenfeld is obviously very patient focused and is very knowledgeable in his field. You will receive excellent care and advice under him and the team of staff he works along side. Credit to the NHS service.

Extremely pleasant and knowledgeable in his field. As soon as i was referred to him, i knew i would want him to do any operations that were needed. If only every doctor was like him. After my op, i spoke to a friend of mine and found out that Dr Lixenfeld had operated on him also and he could only praise him also.

Highly skilled, very professional and very friendly. Although he must have dozens of people to see, he always gives the impression that you are his special patient. A report on the patient's operation / progress is written on the spot. I am sure this doctor has saved the use of my right (dominant) hand following 8 breaks.
