Mr Awad and the Tonic team have truly changed my life! Exceptional service from the initial contact, Mr Awad and the Tonic team have explained everything, covered all my questions and made me feel totally at ease. The nursing team said I was in the best hands with Mr Awad and I couldn’t agree more. Simply brilliant and extremely knowledgeable in his field. Tonic team and aftercare program is outstanding also. Tonic + Mr Awad = Amazing combination, that I am delighted I went with!

Having WLS with Tonic Weight Loss Surgery was the best decision I've made. I knew I was in trusted hands when I met with Dr Awad. He made me feel at ease & some of the nurses also said I'm in the best capable hands. I didn't feel like I was just a number, the care I received from him was person centred, Dr Awad visited me post surgery & I've had various telephone conversations with him. I'd definitely recommend Dr Awad to anyone. :)

Mr Awad is a very professional, knowledgeable Doctor with the kindest bedside manner. He listened to all my concerns, put me ant ease and treated me with the utmost respect, from the initial consultation right through until my discharge. He fully supported my decision, I did not hesitate to put my trust in him and you shouldn't either. I'll be forever grateful for his help. The whole process with Tonic has been simple and streamlined I would recommend them to anyone looking for help and advice regarding Bariatric Surgery. The staff, sport system and their 5 year aftercare package is second to none. I am so glad I chose them.

Mr Awad made me feel very confident in my choice of sleeve gastrectomy surgeons, from the first telephone conversation where everything was covered and all my questions answered,right through to my surgery on 14th April at Burcott Hall.i had no worries or concerns going into theatre as he is very thorough in explaining what to expect.i totally felt at ease and happily walked myself into theatre that day.post operative healing has been great and I am recovering very well.i would reccomend Mr Awad hands down to anyone considering this type of surgery, he is a very skilled surgeon wirh a great bedside manner and thoroughly deserves this great review.i will be eternally grateful to him.

Mr. Awad and his secretary Sarah have gone above and beyond at every stage of the process to deliver, fast, effective and highly competent care. I was under the care of Mr. Awad for Gallbladder Removal surgery at Derby Private Health. All the checks were thorough and everything was well and clearly explained. I had clear expectations on my care and Mr. Awad even pushed for an earlier date as he knew how much I was suffering. Mr. Awad came to see me whilst still in recovery, on the ward later that day and called in the evening too to check on how I was. Mr. Awad was known to me on recommendation from the bariatric community and Tonic Weight loss. Everyone speaks incredibly highly of him and his care and expertise. Mr. Awad, I cannot thank you enough and I couldn't recommend him highly enough.
