I would like to extend my gratitude to Dr Sean Materson and his surgical team on a job well done with my hip replacement and now some ten weeks later my recovery seems to be going well. I no longer have cane support when I go for walks and I’m not in any kind of pain when I do so, once again many thanks to Dr Materson and his team

Dr Masterson is not only an empathic, friendly, and compassionate consultant, but is one of only a few surgeons in England that has the skill to carry out a total hip replacement using what is known as the "Superpath" technique. This approach was used for my complete left hip replacement , resulting in no cuts to my muscles or tendons, less blood loss, a much smaller incision,and rapid recovery. It feels like I have a hip of a teenager. My local GP was astonished, and said she had never before seen such a small and neat hip replacement scar. "Superpath" may not be suitable for everyone, but whatever method is used regarding a hip replacement, I highly recommend the skills and care of Dr Masterson. A.G.

Mr Masterson was exceptional, very professional and took amazing care of me. I had two full hip replacements and felt confident in him as my surgeon. The outcome has been amazing and I am truly grateful to him.

I didn't know what to expect when I went to see Mr.Materson, but when he looked at my X-Ray and told me I needed a new hip, he explained what he was going to do, he put my mind at rest. I can honestly say he has done a fantastic job, a very caring consultant who puts patients first, because I was scared. I have been back to see him after my operation, told him I can't thank him enough for giving me my pain free life back, he's a very humble person and a credit to his profession. So once again THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
