In January 2019 I had a total knee replacement performed by excellent surgeon Mr Malek and his brilliant team. Mr. Malek answered all my questions and concerns with care and understanding. He explained not only the operation itself but also the recovery process. I followed all the advice regarding physio and exercise and can not believe how well I am recovering. Mr Malek is a gentleman and a brilliant surgeon.

My hip replacement by Mr Malek at Rowley Hall Hospital Stafford was an excellent experience in every respect. He spoke with me before and after the procedure which gave me great confidence and trust in him. I was admitted on aTuesday and allowed home on the Thursday and able to walk without a frame or sticks after two weeks. The entire process far exceeded my expectations. I extend my most grateful thanks and would commend him to others without reservation.

Mr Malek placed my hip and I have to say the whole process was as planned with the outcome to date as well or better than expected. I was advised to ask for Mr Malek because of his minimal intrusion approach to the procedure and his approach and record for recovery. He clearly advised me about likely pain and discomfort. I experienced less discomfort than I expected and, following the physio exercises, was able to discard walking aids in what I thought was a remarkably short period of time.

I've had two PKR 's in 6 months , performed by Mr Malek . He is an excellent , caring surgeon , who always puts patients quality of life first . I am only 47 but he agreed that an operation was needed to give me quality of life whilst I was young!! He has an excellent bedside manner and really puts you at ease with his little jokes !! I now look forward to at least 25 years pain free . And would definitely recommend any one who is doubting PKR ... go ahead and have it done .. using Mr Malek as your surgeon of course !

It is now 8 weeks since Mr Sabur Malek did my M. I. S. Total hip replacement.. I feel now almost 100% fit again. from the first consultation.. he made me so at ease with his down to earth mannerism.. the day of surgery he visited my ward prior to the operation and once more made me feel at ease.. The operation went brilliantly and all I have now got fading is a 4" scar which is now hardly noticeable and will soon I reckon fade to nothing... I am so pleased with his technique and approach with his surgery.. the recovery rate is so much quicker as only a small incision against a normal 9" down the leg cut.. If people reading this are worried.. I can honestly recommend Mr Malk to you and I would not hesitate to ask Mr Malek to be my surgeon.. If the other hip ever needs operating on.
