This is my second procedure with Mr Connell and on both occasions his care and consideration has been exemplary. Everything is explained in detail any worries or concerns of which I had many dealt with with kindness care and efficiency. His secretary Michelle was wonderful in dealing with my many queries. The nursing team at Kim’s are amazing Preop HCA Matt, recovery nurse Pam and ward nurse Aimee were all fabulous keeping me calm and well cared for throughout my procedure. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Connell and his team.

Last year Mr Connell fixed my Prolapse and recently I had a Hysteroscopy With fibroid removal and biopsies. On both occasions he was kind, considerate, respectful, professional and empathetic with a great sense of humour which is always much appreciated. He is a good listener and involves his patients in their treatment enabling informed joint decisions I would highly recommend Mr Connell and always feel in very safe hands throughout my treatment with him, he even dashed up straight from theatre to check on me. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me, i am truly grateful to you and your team once again. My very best wishes Anna

Would you trust a consultant who, with a 70 year old patient 25 years after menopause and with a major vaginal prolapse problem, is recommended (from 2 choices) an operation with in his own words a 15% (1 in 7) chance of failure rather than an operation that will remove the source of the problem? We would not, as patient was the 1 of 7 for whom it failed, had a load of problems as a result and now has to have the other option? Caveat emptor - in spades!!

I am so sorry that you feel this. An operation with an 85% success rate is pretty good. I am so sorry that this was not what you wanted to hear. Hope all goes well with your onward care.
