Mr Kerr undoubtedly saved my life and for that I am deeply grateful. He is also a warm and compassionate person and very approachable so I do not hesitate in giving him 100% of my support.

I have known Mr Kerr since 1995 when spent 18 hours operating on my brain tumour from early morning into the morning of the next day. I owe him and his team my life. He is so dedicated and skilled but also so caring and approachable and has always explained fully the good news and the bad. He came into the hospital when he was not on duty just to check on me and also came in when he was in the middle of building his pond at home when there was an emergency. I cannot praise this man enough.

Dr kerr was very helpful in advising my GP about me having high blood pressure and getting a resolution. the doctor, nursing staff were all polite anc very courteous from the start,

He was very caring and came to see me before my op and also the day after the op in intensive care. does not rush you and will explain anything you want, even if this makes his clinic overrun. I must say however that the admin side of things needs to be greatly improved. eg not enough explanation on follow up appointments, papers missing on discharge from hospital.Follow up appointments not being done, therefore have to chase for appointments and not getting a return phone call from staff, very frustrating.

My husband had head surgery in December 2011 & we very nearly lost but but for the dedication of the the surgeon (Mr Kerr) & his expertise my husband is now back home after a very scary experience, Mr Kerr kept me informed at all times either seeing him at the hospital for any questions I had to ask him or kept in touch with me on the phone, he is a very remarkable surgeon & we can't thank him enough for what he has done for my husband. John Radcliffe Hospital is a fantastic hospital & the dedication & support you get from all who looked after him over there was amazing.
