I experienced an epileptic fit in my office in Slough in late 2011, my first such fit. My work colleagues called an ambulance which took me to Wexham Park Hospital where I was well looked after and admitted for observation including MRI scans revealing a brain tumour. I was subsequently transferred to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and taken under the care of Mr Richard Kerr. Within a couple of days I had a craniotomy and he excised my tumour. I have seen Mr Kerr at 6 monthly intervals since for monitoring purposes - all going well after 2 1/2 years. Throughout my time under his care he has been just fantastic - superb patient care, excellent bedside manner, instilling utmost confidence. If you have to have anyone dig around inside your head, trust Mr Kerr. A special man!

I was lucky enough to be referred to Mr Kerr who subsequently operated on me. The outcome was 100% success for which I and my family will be eternally grateful. He has wonderful people skills, displays great empathy and is immensely patient. Mr Kerr is an outstanding surgeon whom I highly recommend.

My girlfriend went to the 'John Radcliffe' hospital for a MRI scan. She went for a total different reason and when they look at the results from the scan, they found a brain tumour on her brain stem! Shocking as it may sound and it was shocking for us! Mr Kerr and the JR hospital team were outstanding from the moment we found out, to surgery, and after surgery care. Mr Richard Kerr, is a great people person, and understands the family is going though this ordeal as well... I can not fault Mr Kerr or the 'John Radcliffe team!'
