Mr Reshid Berber in the initial appointment explained the procedure in detail. On the day of the operation he gave me confidence in what would happen during the operation and made me feel assured. After the operation he visited to ensure all was well. At my six week appointment he explained how things would progress in the future, showed me my X-ray,examined my knee and gave me confidence of my full recovery in the near future. Very grateful for my care both by him and the staff at the Park hospital

From going for my first consultation to meeting Mr Berber on the day of my operation he has been outstanding. He explained the procedure to me in detail and answered all of my questions. The anaesthetist was also excellent he put me at ease and explained what he was going to do.
I would highly recommend Mr Berber and will be going to him again later in the year for my left knee.

My initial consultation with Mr. Berber was at the Park Hospital Nottingham and from that point he showed that he is caring and attentive and very professional. He instantly instilled confidence and agreed to carry out my partial knee replacement which was completed on 4th January 2022. (No more then six weeks from consultation.)
This has proved successful and now 6 weeks post op I am almost back to full fitness with more knee flexion than pre-op.
I am very grateful for the expert surgery of Mr. Berber and the wonderful treatment from the rest of the team.

Dr Berber listened and cared for my needs as a patient. I had knee problems for over 20 years and as a farmer dr Berber sorted my total knee replacement during winter so as I could be back for work in spring. He is very attentive to the job and made a super job

I was placed under the care of Mr Berber as an NHS patient at city hospital Nottingham for orthopaedic surgery. After a two year delay for attention due to Covid I transferred to Private medicine at The Park Hospital Nottingham at my cost, no insurance. I selected Mr Berber as my consultant at the PARK and
I received prompt and professional care from Mr Berber .He carried out a successful full right knee replacement on me in November 2021. I am now recuperating and will be discussing options for a second replacement, my left knee in due course, and will be selecting him to undertake it, again at my cost.I have every confidence in his ability and the quality of his care.

Mr Reshid Berber is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. His NHS practice is based at Nottingham University Hospitals and his private practice is based at The Park Hospital, BMI Healthcare Nottingham.
Mr Berber graduated from University College London, and trained in London before moving to the East Midlands where he undertook specialist training on the highly regarded training programmes across both Nottingham and Leicester.
Mr Berber was awarded a PhD from University College London, for completing a programme of internationally recognised research based at the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Mr Berber has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and has received numerous awards in recognition of his research activities. Mr Berber is a dedicated faculty member on a number of national and international teaching courses.
