I broke my wrist in early December 2018 and had 2 manipulations by A& E to try and put the wrist back into the correct position. Unfortunately this failed and 3 weeks later after seeing another consultant was informed that I needed a plate inserted to make the wrist stable.Mr Sauve was in the hospital operating on other patients and agreed to add me to the end of his list for that day.
I can only say the gods were looking down on me.
Not only is he He is a brilliant surgeon, with an great bedside manner he explained everything thoroughly what he intended to do which made me feel completely at ease with the surgery.
After surgery and at follow up appointments he is always approachable and explains whatever questions I have asked.
Many thanks for your patience and care it was exemplary.

I cant rate Mr Sauve highly enough. He is a great surgeon, with an impeccable "bedside manner", amazing professionalism, brilliant sense of humour and very approachable. He explained everything thoroughly, was so patient with me (thank you for that!!), and after listening/talking to him I felt so at ease with the surgery.
Although the man himself is brilliant, I do to also say he has a brilliant team with him also - especially the great Liz Hawes. Thank you both so very much for keeping me sane and allowing me to become pain free.

I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands at the same time by Philip Suave 2 weeks ago. Fantastic care was received from everybody involved from the first out patient appointment through to having the stitches removed. I couldn’t be any more impressed with my treatment and the outcome. Mr Sauve explained everything in great detail at every step and he also listened to me when I asked questions. I couldn’t have been in any better care and would highly recommend him & Queen Alexandra hospital to anyone. Thank you .
