Dr Tsafrakidis made me feel very relaxed and gave me a very positive outlook that my condition could be improved without surgery which was the exact opposite to the last consultation I attended. His examination was very thorough and the advice given was clear and informative.

Petros, was great, he listened to my problems and talked me through the options available for my enlarged prostrate. I decided to go for the “Green Laser” option to photo vaporisation part of my prostrate, this was all done internally with a non invasive procedure. This was performed at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline on the 30th August 2018. The day surgery unit was great, everything went well and was very organised. Everyone knew their job and the transfer flow excellent. Your staff were joyful and chatted to to keep me informed of all the different procedures that I was going through. Sorry I cannot give any improvement comments on this service as you can’t improve on perfection. The change in my water works is like night & day. Full flow has been regained.

First visit to Urology department and obviously first visit to see Mr Petros Tsafrakidis. He immediately made me feel comfortable to discuss my problem and took time ensure that I fully understood options for this problem. Would have no hesitation in coming back to see him as his social/interpersonal skills are excellent.

I have been attending urology clinics for a number of years and specifically Mr. Petros Tsafrakidis clinic since January 2017. I have found this consultant to be exceptional in every aspect of the care and attention I received. I have never had so much explained to me or information supplied to me on my condition as I got at this clinic. My condition is a difficult and embarrassing subject for a man to discuss but Mr. Petros Made me feel completely at ease speaking quite openly about the problems and the anxiety the problem was causing me, it also helped me greatly that every time I attended the clinic it was Mr. Petros I saw, which in turn saved me having to discuss my problem with someone different every time I attended the clinic. I cannot praise Mr. Petros enough, he is the type of person we need running NHS clinics, Mr. Petros Tsafrakidis I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you done for me.
