I found Mr de Zoysa extremely professional and courteous. He explained everyhting to me really well. My sinus surgery went as expected and I recovered as he described. I cant recommend him enough.

Neil was amazing from start to finish. He put me at ease from the start and was really clear and thorough in explaining it all to me. Im really happy with the result of my surgery (Sinus operation) all the congestion and blockage I had have gone. Im really greatful for taking such good care of me.

Profile

Neil De Zoysa is a Consultant ENT & Thyroid surgeon based in Dorset at Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset County Hospitals. Neil was trained in London at Guys Hospital, St Georges Hospital and the Evelina Hospital for Children he has a wide range of specialist skills and expertise in both adult and paediatric ENT surgery.

He has undertaken International Fellowship level training in Head & Neck & Skull Base surgery including the prestigious Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane Australia. He has undertaken extensive training in Thyroid surgery at multiple units across London the UK and Australia and has a special interest in the treatment of Thyroid cancer as well as all other cancers in the head and neck.

Neil has also undertaken advanced fellowship training in Plastic & Reconstructive surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Castle Hill Hospital in Yorkshire. This has allowed him to learn techniques employed other allied specialities and tailor them to his patients in ENT.

He completed his undergraduate medical education at UCL where he was awarded a Merit in his Final MB Medicine examination he went onto complete a Master’s degree at Imperial College London here he was awarded a Distinction and the Deans prize for his work in surgical Technology and robotics.

Neil has an active interest in the training of surgical registrars and core trainees and plays an active role in the career development of future consultants. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, cycling, cricket, swimming and football.
