Marcus Cope is a straight talking Yorkshireman whom some patients might find a trifle daunting. On the other hand, some might be at ease with that. At all events I got on well with him - perhaps because both hip replacements have been very successful.

Professional but Friendly, approachable, listens and explains in great detail, thorough and always takes the time to ask and answer any questions I may have. Total trust in Mr Cope and hope that he will do my other knee replacement in the future.

I had been in great pain for a number of years and never really felt listened to until I was referred to Mr Cope. Mr Cope has not only given me two new hips within a short time period but, as dramatic as it may sound, given me my life back. I'm sleeping well now, have more patience, confidence and self esteem. I can now get fit again and be more active with my grandchildren and get the garden done. I've done my part too by doing my excercises given by the hospital and my private physiotherapists. I must also mention the hospital staff. They looked after me with great care. Can't praise them enough. Mr Cope gave me two new hips and I will make the most of them!

I had a total hip replacement on 30th October 2017 and found Mr Cope and his team and all at Renacres first class. Mr Cope explained everything very clearly before and after the operation. I am very pleased with the outcome and would not hesitate to call upon him and his team again if needed.
