Mr Thiruppathy not only took action quickly and reassuringly when scans revealed I was really poorly, but the exceptional kindness and empathy he showed at my follow-up appointment makes this gentlemen one of the very best. The operation he performed effectively saved my life - I have extensive treatment to come but I will get better and enjoy quality of life again. About this Mr T was encouraging and realistic (offering some great tips for maintaining my health while treatment is ongoing) but he was also incredibly understanding of my situation - as someone who has enjoyed excellent health all my life, this is life-changing for me. I had a sudden emergency event 3 years ago and was lucky enough to receive care from this outstanding doctor. The care I have received through life changing years for both me and my family has been incredible. From the very start he has been a rock - positive, approachable, friendly and kind. I was never in any doubt that he was on my side. He explained my new situation clearly, guiding and helping me through it all. No question was too much - his calm professionalism being hugely comforting. Even discussing sensitive subjects, he has been patient and positive, which was of great relief. The level of care afforded to me was, and is absolutely fantastic - before and during surgery, in-hospital recovery and now during ongoing aftercare. Indeed, I have always been given time and reassurance during my follow up appointments. I wish to convey how immensely thankful I am to this wonderful man.

Mr Thiruppathy is quite remarkable. He always appears calm, has empathy, listens to patients carefully & explains medical procedures clearly. He carried out successful surgery on me according to an agreed schedule for which I am grateful. He treats you with gentle care, respect and a sense of humour following surgery. All together he makes a welcome & refreshing change in the 'conveyor belt of the NHS' Others could do well in following his example.
