Reviews
I recently attended the Walton Center for an (MRFGUS) procedure under the guidance of Mr Farah and his team. I have nothing but praise for the treatment l received from the moment l entered the department until the moment of discharge. The care and attention l received was second to none. The objective of seeing an 80% improvement was received, and for that l am immensly grateful. My thanks also goes out to, Louise, Mr Farah's secretary, for being so kind and helpful. Thank you so much Mr Farah and your team.
Excellent care and attention from the start of my diagnosis. No problems since my operation
I received meticulous care from the time I entered the Walton Centre to the moment I left. Each professional I encountered was reassuring and time was taken to ensure I fully understood what was about to happen.
It would have been useful if I could have been contacted by telephone on a weekly basis for the first three or four weeks to check on progress. I was given a telephone number to use if I wished to speak to a professional concerning my operation but on using this it took a date or two before I received a response.
Ive had severe epilepsy since I was 19/20, the year I was diagnosed I knew that I needed brain surgery to get rid of the seizures I was having, after having other neurologists for about 5 years I kept getting told I either couldn’t have surgery or that I didn’t need it when I knew for a fact that I did need it as I nearly died of a fit 3 times. As soon as I met DR Farah and his unbelievable team that he has with him DR Farah said I could have the brain surgery and we started the brain tests straight away.
1 year later I had the op in august which went better than could've imagined, thanks to DR Farah and his team at the walton centre I went into the operation more than ready to get the op done and after a few months left of recovery I’ll be all good to get back working full time with a massive 90% chance I won’t have a seizure again in the future, I couldn’t thank him and his team more for getting my life back, what a guy.
Mr Farah is looking after me due to the finding of a dnet brain tumour. I have 100% trust in his care, expertise and hands as a brain surgeon. If my tumour does grow and I have to have surgery I would have no hesitation in trusting his decision to go forward.
