Written by a NHS patient at Spire Methley Park Hospital
3rd June 2022

Mr Newman gave me two partial knee replacements in February 2021 at Methley Spire hospital, which is a private hospital, although I was funded by the NHS as I had waited over 2 years and was in great pain. The result has been just as good as I hoped, I can now walk over7 miles, whereas before I was scared to cross the road in case I was hit by a car before I got to the other side. I can garden, look after my grandchildren, and do everything I want to, with minimal discomfort. Mr Newman was very kind while I was in hospital, making an extra visit to see me as I was anxious . He also saw me part way through my recovery, which was not scheduled because of the pandemic. Judging by results, he is also a very good surgeon : I read his reviews and I am glad I waited for him to do my operation. Thank you Mr Newman for giving me my life back.
