Mr Malek listened to all my concerns before and after surgery He has a great bedside manner and was extremely professional at all times.He made me feel very at ease like I was his only patent Very calming and in my opinion an excellent surgeon.

I attended Spire late last year to see another Consultant who had been recommended to me for a total hip replacement, who unfortunately had been delayed in theatre on that particular day. Mr Malek was called to see if he could attend his 5pm consultation period any earlier to save me having a wasted journey. He appeared with a smile on his face and from that first meeting he went out of his way to explain everything that would happen in detail and reassured me that all would be well during and after surgery. His Secretary Anna was a warm and compassionate lady who gave me her private number in case I needed to get in touch. Shortly after the surgery Mr Malek personally telephoned my family to reassure them that all was well. He is such a kind modest man and I am so grateful to have been under his care. Post Op I have got on so well and have visited Mr Malek twice in Wrexham. His concern for his patients is paramount and I am so grateful I was fortunate to be under his care. His whole team .. nursing team, physios etc. are a credit to Spire.

I cannot find the words to thank Mr Malek and his whole team enough for the care I received while a patient at The Spire Hospital. From my initial phone call to the follow up visit after surgery nothing was too much trouble for Mr Malek or any of his team. I was listened to and any concerns answered. I would not hesitate to call them again should the need arise I have total confidence in all the staff, from the initial reception on the day of my surgery to the caterers, porters, theatre staff, physio team and general nursing staff who could not have done more for me. I am so grateful to all of them for giving me my life back and the chance to get back on the golf course, a place I love to be. Thank you.

I consider myself very lucky to have had Mr Malek take care of my total hip replacement. Due to the waiting list on the NHS and the arthritic pain I was experiencing, I contacted Spire in Wrexham. Little did I know how lucky I was to be recommended to see Mr Malek. I had confidence in him from the outset. I knew that I was In very safe hands. Mr Malek used a new form of "tape" to seal the wound. No stitches or clips were necessary so there will be no permenant scarring. The whole procedure was amazing and I can't believe how well I'm walking on my 8th week. In addition, Mr Malek is a lovely man who always greets you with a wide smile. He is very easy to talk to and reassured me that all would be well. If I ever need the other hip doing I know exactly who to go to.... the brilliant and modest surgeon that is Mr Ibrahim Malek!

I went to see Professor Malik when I needed a hip replacement. I found him very professional and kind and showed an interest in how I felt and told me what to expect after my operation. My operation was exactly as Professor Malik explained. I felt he had faith in me with regards to my recovery which I think help motivate me even more. I was walking unaided at 4 weeks and pretty well normal after 6 weeks, 3 months down the line I can really enjoy life again. I really can't thank him enough.
