I met with Mr Dafydd following complications of a previous surgery. He took the time to listen and complete a full review of my situation and offered a range of solutions. Throughout the consultation, treatment and aftercare process he kept me informed answering all my questions clearly ensuring I was reassured and confident throughout. I can't recommend Mr Dafydd more highly, he went over and above throughout my treatment to ensure I received the best outcome possible. All of his team I came in contact with were professional, caring and friendly.

I was referred to Mr Dafydd after previous surgery had failed to solve a problem with severe pain in my hand which was impacting on my daily life . I felt that none of the doctors were taking my symptoms seriously especially after several scans had failed to show any problems. Mr Dafydd however fully listened to my concerns and was able to offer a plan for surgery in an attempt to ease the pain. I was kept fully informed both prior to and immediately after the surgery which I'm pleased to say was 100% successful.

“I cannot speak highly enough of Mr Dafydd’s work and professionalism - he is undoubtably one of the best. After suffering a ruptured Achilles in September 2016 and subsequent operations, I was referred to Mr Dafydd to review unstable scarring and a chronic wound on the back of my heel. Mr Dafydd explained the options to me and proposed an innovative procedure called a Medial Sural Artery Perforator Flap (first in Wales) that would repair the wound with a very high rate of success. On the morning of the procedure Mr Dafydd again explained in detail how the operation would go, post-operative care and expected outcome. The care and attention from Mr Dafydd and the staff on the ward was exceptional. The repair to my ankle is unbelievable with the follow-up consultations of a very high standard, ensuring the best results were achieved. I am now back fully fit and active.”

Testimonial I was very fortunate to have my hand operated on by Mr Dafydd. I had very limited mobility in my left wrist due to damage done during Carpal Tunnel surgery (which was done in a different hospital) I couldn't flex my wrist and my grip was very limited. I also had pain and uncomfortable sensation due to nerve damage. I was lucky enough to get a call in April 2020 asking if I was available to have repair surgery carried out the next day! This was totally unexpected as it was in the early days of the Covid crisis and I just assumed my surgery was going to be delayed indefinitely. The whole experience was so reassuring and Mr Dafydd explained fully what was going to happen. I was so relaxed during the procedure, that when he asked would I like to look at what was being done, mid surgery!, I was brave enough to do so. My recovery was excellent and even within a couple of days I was amazed at the improvement in the range of movement in my wrist. I will never have full recovery from the previous damage caused. However, I will always be grateful to Mr Dafydd for allowing me to carry out simple tasks like using a knife and fork, without someone helping me to cut my food, walking my dogs without assistance and also being able to drive longer distances. Thank you again Mr Dafydd and I wish you well in your future ventures.

After contracting Meningitis and Sepsis in July 2017, Mr Dafydd undertook my four amputations. Prior to the operations he informed me that he would retain as much of my limbs as was possible. The process was very traumatic but he was always measured and very professional. After the operations he would visit me in the ward even if he had been working for many hours and enquire about my progress and well-being. It was very much appreciated. After undergoing subsequent rigorous rehabilitation I was able to stand on prosthetic limbs some 7 months after my operations. Mr Dafydd's surgery allowed me the chance to walk again after it was so cruelly taken from me. I am currently building the strength in my left arm to receive a prosthetic functioning left hand. Mr Dafydd was able to retain enough of my left arm to make this possible. He has offered further surgery for my part right hand which I will look to undertake in the future.
