First consulted Dr Duminy for a breast reduction in 1999. He was caring and did a superb job. So , when I was faced with a double mastectomy due to cancer in 2013, he was my first choice for reconstructive surgery. He and his staff have been extremely supportive during this difficult period. Everything has been explained to me clearly and advise given on the various types of reconstruction that can be done. The final decision based on complications during my cancer treatment has been to use fat from my stomach area for the breast reconstruction. Due to Dr Duminy's skills and decisions my nipples were saved which will help with the more natural look. My reconstruction which is done over a few months has started. I feel great confidence in having an excellent result. When I am finished with the breast reconstruction I am contemplating that tummy tuck. Once again Dr Duminy will be my first choice; he comes in a package of great skills and human kindness.

In January 2015 it will be 10 years since I had my breast reduction done by Dr Duminy which really changed my life. And a decade later they still look great! I wanted to have them done from when I was 18 and only had the surgery at 32. I was obsessive with my research on plastic surgeons and made an appointment with a doctor who was apparently the best. I had to wait months for my appointment, pay for the consultation before the doctor saw me and when it was finally my turn to see him I was met with this immaculate arrogant man. He unceremoniously told me to get undressed and then said "yes - you certainly qualify for a reduction!" He was so rude that I immediately knew he was not the doctor for me. So I was back to square one. My daughters kindergarten teacher then recommended Dr Duminy. The experience was TOTALLY different. Before he asked me to get undressed he spend 45 minutes chatting with me and was so comforting and kind. He explained all I needed to know. I would absolutely recommend his surgery.
