Mr Nilssen was the the first person to take my chronic rhinitis seriously, carefully listening to what I said regarding my medical history . He dealt with me in a professional manner and was able to reassure me, initiating the relevant diagnostic tests to help with the assessment of the condition. I'm very appreciative of his care so far and would recommend him.

I made an appointment for my 91-year old mother to see Mr. Nilssen as she had been having heavy, seemingly spontaneous nosebleeds over the course of several months, which a previous cauterisation in A&E at another hospital had failed to resolve. We saw him at the Spire Portsmouth Hospital and when we went along for our first appointment we were only expecting him to examine her and that we would have to return at a later date for any treatment to be carried out. However, Mr. Nilssen spotted the problem immediately, carried out the necessary procedure there and then and appears to have resolved it as now (a month later) Mum has not had another nosebleed. Mr. Nilssen explained the procedure clearly before carrying it out, was courteous, kind and efficient and my mother and I were very happy with the treatment he provided.
