I had a cataract removed and an intraocular lens implanted at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford (Vanguard Eye Unit) on 8th June 2023. The operation was carried out by Mr Dimitrios Pimenides who was very reassuring throughout the procedure. I am most grateful to Mr Pimenides and the whole team who did a splendid job during my short stay in the unit. I am absolutely delighted with the result as I can now see in 3D again and can see colours I had forgotten existed. Peter Parks.
