When I arrived at A&E I was not as coherent as normal!. I was seen by one of the departmental nurses who calmly asked questions about how I was feeling. Shortly after the Dr. arrived and was incredibly kind and gentle in his manner. He patiently explained what would be happening to me with a view to me staying over night, but he would be keeping an eye on me, this he did although I knew he was very busy. I do not visit the Doctors surgery of hospital very often but if Prof. Bulstrode is the standard then I couldn't be more proud of the NHS and all it achieves quietly without fuss on a daily basis.

Prof Bulstrode saw me with a minor hand injury. He gave quick, sensible and authorative advice. I found him helpful and attentive.

Prof Bulstrode was very thorough and listened carefully to what was being said. He was empathetic and gave the patient, who has learning difficulties, encouragement, time and praise for explaining her condition and how she felt. He also apologised for the amount of time we had to wait and explained why this was. Excellent care.
