Mr Benjamin P Jones

Profile

After graduating in 2009, Benjamin completed his speciality training in obstetrics and gynaecology training in North West London. He became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015. In 2016, he became a founding member of the International Society of Uterine Transplantation (ISUTx). In 2019, he completed his PhD which focused on uterus transplantation and fertility restoration. He is the principal investigator of the Investigational Study Into Transplantation of the Uterus at Imperial for the UK deceased donor research trial and coordinates the living donor programme. He has published more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and lectures internationally on uterus transplantation and other aspects of reproductive medicine. He is an honorary lecturer at Imperial College London and supervises three PhD students.
