I hesitated for ages before having this lumbar decompression operation. Nerve root blocks stopped working and the pain level steadily increased so I started to consider surgery. Mr Chaudhary came highly recommended so I went to see him. He explained very clearly the options and followed up with a letter to my GP. Amazingly, I could understand it and it accurately represented our conversation. Some months later I took the surgical route. I’ve had no nerve pain since, and it’s now six weeks on. As well as his skill, I really appreciated Mr Chaudhary’s informal approach and his clear explanations as well as his willingness to discuss any concerns (unfounded) I had post-op. This has been a very positive experience which has given me back a normal life. This is important at my age of 76 years ! His administration team (Mandy) deserve 5 stars as well.

A last minute cancellation meant that I was transferred to Mr. Chaudhary's list earlier than originally scheduled. He was extremely good at talking to me on the ward both before and after surgery. As it was spinal decompression I am glad this was the case as I was immediately relieved of the pain in my back. There is still, after 3 weeks, some residual sciatic pain which I believe should ease as internal swelling subsides.

From my first consultation with Mr Chaudhary I felt completely confident that he listened carefully to me and understood my problems. He was patient, understanding and explained everything in a way that was easy for me to understand. He took the time to explain thoroughly my scans one by one and what resolutions could be offered along with the potential outcome. His secretary Mandy was equally excellent and always liaised and responded quickly to me. The Manor Hospital looked after me extremely well throughout my stay and the outcome from my surgery exceeded my expectations from the moment I woke up and has changed my life. I cannot thank Mr Chaudhary and his team enough including Mandy for everything they have done for me to make this whole process go smoothly with an outcome that is better than I had ever expected. I would without questions recommend Mr Chaudhary and The Manor Hospital.

Mr Chaudhary is exceptional. From the moment I met with him, I was confident that he would be able to change my life for the better. His explanation of the options was very clear and his proposal involving minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery was the option that I selected. Leading up-to, on the day and following my surgery, Mr Chaudhary was superb in his approach to patient care. He was so personable, friendly and approachable. For anybody with recurring back-pain, I would recommend you make an appointment to see Mr Chaudhary. You will not be disappointed.

Mr Chaudhary showed great care and understanding from the first consultation to the day of my surgery . I had minimal invasive surgery for spinal stenosis , Mr Chaudhary explained what was involved and came after the surgery to tell me how it had all gone. I had very little pain for the first few days , and not a huge amount 1 week after. I am walking without too much pain and sleeping well , the scar is very small and isn't giving me any problems . I had my operation done at the Nuffield Orthopedic hospital in Oxford under the NHS . I would highly recommend Mr Chaudhary for his expertise and his calm and understanding professionalism.
