I would certainly recommend Mr Avi Agrawal as a breast specialist. He was professional at all times giving me all the information pertaining to my case but not swaying me to make a decision one way or another. This made me feel I had control over my own body. Following a mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy my results came back in one week. The most stressful time was waiting for my results therefore I was extremely pleased that he was able to see me and give me my results in person. I cannot speak more highly of the care I have been given.

On my first visit to see Mr Agrawal I thought he was going to be a bit formal and remote but on every subsequent meeting with him I found him to be totally professional and completely empathetic and I would have no qualms in recommending him to any of my friends and family if they ever found themselves in my position.

Mr Agrawal always listens to my concerns, takes great care to explain everything to me, my options and what is best for me. He has been very kind and understanding, reassuring me when I was scared of my diagnosis and treatment. I feel I can be honest and know he will do what is best for me. I have the deepest respect and totally trust him. My trust has been justified, I now have my life back due to his professional expertise and care. Mr Agrawal , is for me, the perfect blend of the professional with an approachable and kind manner. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Mr Agrawal, the Breast Care Nurse Gwynedd and the whole team have given outstanding care during the course of my breast cancer treatment, to the point that relieved as I am to not be needing their services anymore, I will genuinely miss our weekly appointments, as they provided a real grounding and holding feeling during a very chaotic and turbulent time. Gwynedd was invaluable as someone to speak to in-between sessions when I had concerns about wound care post-surgery and really went out of her way to be available, even speaking to me when she was on holiday and I had a question. Mr Agrawal has been very clear and upbeat throughout, and it felt like there was time around things to ask questions and get really clear about the choice of surgery we chose together. I particularly appreciated him summarising our appointments at the end in a voice note that then got sent to me in written form by email as it can be hard to keep track of everything that is said at the time. Charlie, Mr Agrawal’s secretary, was a very helpful point of administrative contact and kept the flow of communication ticking over nicely. Overall: very recommended.

Following a routine mammogram I received a follow up appointment at my local hospital where I had a repeat mammogram, a scan and three biopsies. My next appointment was where I was introduced to my Consultant Mr Avi Agrawal where I was informed that I needed surgery to remove the cancer in my breast. He immediately put me at ease, listened to concerns I had whilst discussing my biopsy results, the surgery it was advisable for me have, plus the follow up treatment I may require. All this took place in a calm and relaxed atmosphere where I could talk freely to him, taking my time. What a lovely man! Twenty one months have passed and I have undergone a Lumpectomy, a Sentinel Node Biopsy and Radiotherapy treatment. I see Mr Avi Agrawal and Mrs Annie Suovuri my Oncologist for regular checkups and have a yearly mammogram. I have every confidence in Mr Avi Agrawal and his multidisciplinary team and feel the care I am receiving is exemplary, I couldn’t receive better.
