I went into Queens hospital through the emergency system. Dr Rekha Wuntakal my consultant listened to what I had to say and spoke to me (not at me) she was patient and gave me the best possible care she could to relieve me from my pain, her assistant was excellent also because they had to work really hard to get my procedure done with other outside teams. I'm not a big fan of Queens hospital with its bad history, but I cannot fault the care on this occasion so feel it's appropriate for me to feed back on the excellent care I was given in they gynaecologist ward by Dr Wuntakal and her team. I would definitely recommend this team to friends and family. I must also say the gynaecology ward at Queens was one of the best wards I have ever been in, it was a lovely atmosphere and I felt this was because the staffing were happy, and there were very few agency staff, which to me made such a difference.

Hi My name is Mihaela Nicolae and I was a patient of consultant Rekha Wuntakal and her team at Early Pregnancy/Acute Gynaecology Assessment and Treatment Unit at Queens Hospital in Romford. I would recommend her to anyone as she is giving her patients an OUTSTANDING care. I think she is one of the best assets from this hospital. Before going to have my surgery some other patients recommended her as an excellent consultant/ doctor. Miss Wuntakal is a doctor that I would recommend to everyone. She treats patients as if they were family, listening to everything they want to ask, kindly answering their questions and providing them with the latest knowledge in her scientific field.
