Having met Ms Wuntakal before my operation in hosptial - a full hysterectomy due to endometrial cancer, I found her to be very friendly, informative and reassuring on the out come of the op. After the operation Ms Wuntakal vistied my bedside and told me the op had gone to plan. She also visited me the next day and explained again how the op had gone. I feel that Ms Wuntakal is a very thorough and thoughtful consultant and has all her patients best interests at heart. So much so, she told me that I will be seeing her for the next 5 years. The service provided by the staff and nurses of King Georges Hospital and Queens hospital is exceptional and go above and beyond to help their patients.

In my opinion Miss Rekha Wuntakal is an amazing bionic surgeon. On the morning of 23/01/2023 I underwent an extensive hysterectomy performed by Miss Wuntakal. My surgery became complicated because a fallopian tube had fused itself to my bowel which had to be disconnected before the hysterectomy operation could continue. In the afternoon of the same day, 23/1, I was sitting up in bed eating lunch and drinking apple juice. Then walking myself to the toilet. At every stage, from my initial meeting Miss Wuntakal, all my questions were answered. I have the upmost admiration for everyone involved in my care I was treated with dignity and respect. I would without hesitation, from my experience, highly recommend Miss Rekha Wuntakal as an amazing bionic surgeon. Thank you Miss Wuntakal.

Dr Wuntakal and her team were absolutely fantastic. Her approach with Mandy (nurse) was so friendly and welcoming, they put me to ease. My whole experience felt very personal and I felt so looked after. Even after I was discharged Dr Wuntakal called on my mobile to check up on me which really was uplifting. Along with Dr Wuntakal, her team and all staff that I came across during my treatment were exceptional. The care and respect that was shown has played a big part in my well being and recovery.
