I was treated with exemplary care by Miss Bourkiza and all her team throughout my diagnosis and treatment. Her explanation of my condition and the treatment that was recommended, and carried out, has resulted in an outcome that was far greater than my expectations. Her explanations were easy to understand and she listened and acted on my concerns. This all made what could have been a scary procedure into a calm and very professional one. I am most grateful for the care I received and would heartily recommend her to any friends or family.

I was operated on in May 2022 to repair a hole in my macular by Dr Bourkiva. Everything was fully explained to me prior o the operation. During the surgery she kept me informed every step of the way. Her calm and efficient tone made it I almost a relaxing experience and my preconception of what eye surgery involved was allayed. Her post operation review was informative about the possibility of cataract surgery in the future. I thank her for her care and attention.

In February and March this year I had cataract surgery on both eyes, carried out by Dr Bourkiza and her team. Both operations were very successful, and I was delighted with the care that I received throughout. All the way through the process, from pre-surgery to aftercare, Dr Bourkiza was professional, kind, and easy to speak to. She explained things very clearly and was happy to answer any questions I had. During the actual surgery she showed great care and skill and gave me a commentary of what was going on, which was very reassuring. I felt very safe and confident with Dr Bourkiza carrying out the surgery and would highly recommend her. Thank you for all your care and expertise.

When I was 40 years old I had relatives who are my age now, 86. All had difficulty in seeing. There was no access to help as I experienced. The ability to see well when. You are older is extremely important as other physical difficulties are emerging. I was fortunate I had wonderful care at Central Middlesex Hospital in the cataract clinic from beginning to end of the treatment, I cannot speak highly enough of the lady surgeon and her team who did the operation. A wonderful soothing commentary as the procedure went smoothly along. Many thanks for your kind and considerable skills.
