Dr Sunil Kumar

I had my Adult Autism assessment with Dr Kumar via a virtual consultation. I was with my sister and he immediately made us feel as ease and was very patient when we had some initial communication problems with the speakers on our side. I was extremely anxious in the beginning, especially so after the speaker problems but I felt so relieved by his kindness and patience, which he demonstrated throughout my assessment. I found the whole experience fascinating and felt so understood and was amazed and touched by the fact that he understood that I was going through this whole process because I wanted an explanation of why I am the way I am. I really feel he cares passionately about his field of work and his patients and has an in-depth knowledge of his work. He demonstrated a lot of care and compassion towards me and I was left feeling very positive about the future. It was truly a pleasure to have met him and I feel fortunate to have been assessed by him. Would highly recommend Dr Kumar.

A truly surreal experience with Dr Kumar. Such a joy to have his calm words of guidance, support and wisdom shared all through the consultation. Exceptionally knowledgeable and went above and beyond.

I was assessed for ADHD by Dr. Kumar, and he listened to me without any judgement. I felt completely safe, assured and understood. It was so validating to express my feelings in a space which was accepting.

Dr Kumar gives his patients the room to speak and open up, always listening to them. In terms of the medical investigations a doctor must carry out, he is thorough in his questioning yet also respects boundaries if I wasn't comfortable answering a question, which makes him easy to talk to. It is incredibly important that doctors create a comfortable environment for their patients which Dr Kumar does effortlessly while still maintaining professionalism. Thank you to Dr Kumar for a great first impression of the service, since I haven't worked with them before.

I had an adhd assessment with Dr . Kumar. From the beginning it felt easy to open up, and Dr. Kumar listened without judgement and made me feel really understood. I really appreciated all of the information he gave me and new terms he explained to me, and explanations for why I have always found things so challenging and other things so easy. I am so pleased to walk away from the appointment with more information on how I can move forward in my life, and things I can be mindful of that were more draining to me. I highly recommend Dr. Kumar. He is very insightful and truly understands neurodivergence and all the different ways it can manifest, and how things like culture can impact the presentation.

It was very easy to be comfortable with Dr. Kumar. He listened without any judgement and offered lots of reassurance. It felt like I was very fortunate to be allocated him as a doctor as he was very insightful. He was able to give me a lot of the answers it seems I've always been looking for. There were things I didn't yet mention to him, but he was able to pin point from other information I gave, and he was spot on. I appreciate the information greatly and I felt like I came away from the assessment with more knowledge of myself, and things I have been doing that could help, but also things that I can be more mindful of that would increase the quality of my life in the future.
