I am full time Consultant Rheumatologist based at Salford Royal Hospital, Northern Care Alliance of over 20 years of clinical experience. I from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 1991. I completed postgraduate studies in General Internal medicine at JJ Hospitals, Mumbai in 1996 and was awarded MD (Internal Medicine). I moved to United Kingdom in 1997 and completed Specialist Rheumatology training in West Midlands. In 2004, he was appointed as full-time Consultant Rheumatologist at Haywood Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent. I led the connective tissue disease services and developed links with other specialties and recruited to various clinical trials in SLE, Sjogren's syndrome, vasculitis and inflammatory arthritis I moved to Salford Royal Hospital, NCA in June 2016. I have set up combined clinic with Renal Physicians and do weekly Vasculitis& Lupus MDT offering specialist rheumatology input. I represent NCA at regional GCA MDT. I do an early inflammatory arthritis, CTD and general clinics I have keen interest in postgraduate education. I am Trust Lead for rheumatology at Salford NCA. I have worked as Associate Foundation Programme Director for 2018 -2024. I am Honorary Clinical Lecturer (Teaching) at University of Manchester. I have private practice privileges at Orth Team Centre, Manchester Hale, Manchester Spire Hospitals. I do rheumatology outpatient clinics at Wilmslow Health Centre for Manchester Surgical services. I am an active member of British Society for Rheumatology and Royal College of Physicians.
