Firstly, I would like to commend Dr Wijayaweera for his professionalism and his communication skills. He was clear, precise and always responded quickly when I contacted him with any questions. He kept me fully informed of how my mother's treatment was progressing. I cannot believe the change that has come about in my mother since being in Dr Wijayaweera's care, she is a different person now. Happy, relaxed and interested in life once again. Thank you to all the team for their dedication and hard work.

Dr Wijayaweera was responsible for the care of my mother during the Covid-19 lockdown when it was not possible for any of the family to visit her or meet with any of the professionals who were looking after her. During the eight weeks that my mother remained in hospital Dr Wijayaweera provided regular updates to the family by email and telephone. He understood our concerns and responded quickly to any questions that we raised about my mother's treatment. He demonstrated great empathy in his dealings with my mother and our family and his regular communication with us was very comforting during a very difficult time. Our family is truly grateful and appreciative of the work that Dr Wijayaweera and his team have done in supporting our mother's recovery.
