I just had my 2nd consultation with Dr Khurjekar, and in fact I find it too formal to address him as Dr Khurjekar. Dr, I hope you don't mind me addressing you with your first name Sachin. This itself is a complement to the Doctor, as he comes across as a friend and very easy to have a chat with, whilst he is very thorough, clear and professional in his capacity as your GP. I have been in this country for over 30 years and was always reluctant to visit my surgery for "another" GP appointment. But now, I look forward to seeing Sachin....... for those cricket lovers, I see him as Sachin Tendulkar of my Surgery !!!

Such a great doctor who was my Gp for over three years. It’s been very hard to find a Gp like Dr Khurjekar since he left Stanmore but I’m happy that others will get the chance to have him as their doctor. I hope you read your reviews Dr Khurjekar and see how much of a positive impact you have left on your patients from Stanmore.

Dear Patient thank you so much for your very kind words. Though sad as it was to leave Stanmore, I needed new challenges. I hope you are well and being looked after at HMC. Kind regards Dr K

Dr Khurjekar always listened, never rushed appointments and made sure I got the correct diagnosis for what I now know to be a very rare swallowing disorder. I used to see him at the The Honeypot Centre and I know he is greatly missed.

I had a mark on my nose and had told many doctors about it. It was barley looked at and then only from across the desk. As soon as I mentioned it to Dr Khurjekar he got up from his chair to take a look and sent me for tests. It had been there for some time so I was relieved. As it happens I was not there to see him for that problem but he still took the time where others had not. I have since had the Basel cell carcinoma removed from my nose and I am very great full to him. Jean Connor
