Had moles removed and discussed various other issues with Dr Mehta. Listened to me and put me at ease. Had a great rapport with him which seems to be a rare thing with doctors nowadays. Still healing but the scars seems to be healing well. I did only have small ones removed though.

During the difficult time of Covid a GP placed me on the 2 week pathway for suspicious skin lesions. I found it difficult to book a face to face appointment but eventually was given one with Dr Metha. I found him to be considerate, kind in his approach and above all he gave me confidence to go ahead with the necessary procedures.

I made an appointment with a dermatologist Dr Rohaj Mehta at Springfield for myself and couldn’t attend or cancel in time due to a death in the family. I was sent a £200 bill because of no show. It’s been months now and I’ve been going back and forth with his team and the hospital but they’re persistent that the charges stand. I have even sent a death certificate to which they respond it was out of country. It was a family members death and it being in another country doesn’t mean I’m grieving any less. I’ve even offered to pay half the charges considering he didn’t even see me or spent any time trying to diagnose my problem. I don’t ever want to go back to such a doctor who’s so inconsiderate of someone’s loss and is only trying to extort my hard earned money.
