In total disbelief at what has happened to the amazing service of the GUM Clinic at RCH Trust. The staff, Dr’s and nurses were always incredible and felt so at ease with whenever I needed to visit. Dr Robin Bell, thank you.... you helped me in ways you never realised. I’m truly saddened to hear you resigned, whether that be through the closure and tenure being awarded to Brook or other personal reasons. I can’t believe what the council has done to this service, whipping the rug from beneath the feet of so many vulnerable patients that relied on you kind hearted folk. If you ever read this, thank you for your care, your patience and your understanding. The new service offered throughout Cornwall is on no level with that which was given by RCH Trust.... the new provider will never be able to compete or even come close to offering the service which ended in 2019/20. Thank you again Robin!

I wanted so much to talk to Dr Bell and am sad that he has left RCHT. However I totaly respect his desire to leave. If you read this Dr Bell, thank you for helping me and enjoy whatever you choose to do next. You made a musician find harmony again.

I have just found out from reading another letter that Dr Robin Bell has resigned from his post at GU Sexual Clinic at RCH. And as the writer of the letter is horrified at the news as Dr Robin Bell also cared for me as a patient and I also wish him all the best for the future and that as the other letter suggests enjoy his garden. I am horrified to discover that Dr. Robin Bell has felt the necessity to resign after the hopeless cuts to the GU Sexual Health clinics in Cornwall. I have dealt with this WONDERFUL, professional, caring and BRILLIANT doctor for many years and his departure is a HUGE loss to Cornwall. He was always charming and understanding and went out of his way to help his patients, above and beyond the immediate requirements. I wish him very best wishes for the future and hope that he has many happy years in his garden, which sounded amazing, as is his horticultural knowledge.
