Dr Quinton is excellent; he clearly has lots of experience and is reassuringly matter-of-fact. He has a good memory and doesn't make you feel faceless or forgettable, or that your condition is unimportant. My one constructive suggestion is that I feel that sometimes he overlooks or minimises the emotional impact of a medical condition. I'm not suggesting that it's necessarily his job to address this directly, but perhaps he could offer more direction as to where a person might go/what they might do to access relevant help.

Having been unwell for 18 months and deferred and delayed by my GP practice and local Hospital Trust in North Yorkshire. I have again endeavoured to travel some considerable distance to get the highest level of professional help I could. Within a week of ringing Dr Quinton's secretary I had a virtual consultation which was short, decisive and to the point. I am a Yorkshire man I didn't want flowery medical techno babble and I did not get that just plain simple English. With all my medical information in front of him I got a straight talking immediate diagnosis, explanations and guidance for the future from a man who is obviously on top of his game, Knowledgeable, confident without being arrogant, humorous, warm with a very friendly manner. It is a shame that we are still in the midst of Covid because I would have liked to shake him warmly by the hand. A breath of fresh air nothing seeming to be too much trouble. From my wife and I a big thank you. .
