I was privileged to have Dr Bird as my GP during the time in which she worked at Crondall New Surgery. She was a lovely person through and through, knew how to listen and never once made you feel as though you were a time waster. As well as being kind and personable, she was always efficient and purposeful. You just knew she was a good person as well as a great doctor. I was devastated when I was told bluntly that Dr Bird "no longer works here". No explanation was given and that is of course understandable due to data protection but you just knew there was something sinister about her departure. It is only today that I came across the article in the Farnham Herald saying that Dr Bird has been dismissed. Like all her patients I was devastated to hear that. I was always suspicious that because she was so attentive to people's needs, she probably didn't get through a large enough list of patients. That's such a travesty of justice. I just wish there were more doctors like Dr Bird. She cared and she is a doctor by vocation more than career choice.

Dr Bird was my doctor when she was at Southwood Surgery. She then moved to Milestone and I was one of the lucky patients she took with her. She diagnosed a near life long ear condition that helped me immensely as thought at times I was going mad. A good and trusted doctor

Dr Bird was by far and away the best doctor I have ever seen. Her kindness, compassion, knowledge and professionalism were remarkable and she is a much much missed doctor at Crondall New Surgery.

I am quite elderly and have lived in Crondall for many years. I have found Dr Rachel Bird to be the most efficient, pleasant and conscientious doctor I have ever come across and I enjoyed the peace of mind that she was here should I need help. Many others have been of the same opinion. I am not alone in feeling devastated that Crondall Surgery thought fit to dismiss Dr Bird, through no apparent fault of her own, and with no regard to the feelings of our local community. Having read the reviews of Dr Bird and Dr Tyrrell one wonders where the justice is.

Dr Rachel Bird was the best Doctor I have ever had. Through listening thoroughly to me she identified a life problem I had and was able to understand and then prescribe a treatment that has changed my life. Just simply that. I will be indebted to her and cannot think how she has left her surgery without her patients being able to thank her for her knowledge, understanding and kindness.
