I wish I had checked these reviews before I was referred to him. The whole experience has been a nightmare. His misdiagnosis and refusal to listen to me has left me housebound and unable to work. He was more interested in discussing my personal life than my condition. I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this so called medical professional

I'm pleased that some have had positive encounters with this doctor, but my experience has been very poor. The impression that I am left with is that Prof. Bouloux is so busy running his private clinics that he has very little time for his NHS patients. When I had trouble trying to access the medication he had prescribed for me, he simply wrote me a letter to say that I'd need to pay for the medication privately if I wanted to get it. On another occasion, he simply couldn't be bothered to solve my problem so offered to refer me somewhere else. It simply doesn't matter that he is the lead consultant in endocrinology at the Royal Free, or that he is a renowned expert in condition x or y, because he is impossibly difficult to get hold of and doesn't appear to be able or willing to address my problems adequately.

I've been seeing Professor Bouloux for several years now for HRT (male). He has taken the time to monitor my hormone levels at regular intervals and get me geared at the correct level which has had a massive improvement to my quality of life, he was also very willing to change medications and treatment approach to try and regenerate fertility which involved a fair bit of work. I feel he listens well and has developed a good understanding of my medial history, which is complex so I would personally absolutely recommend him.

I saw this doctor a few times and had a similar experience as the patients below. He was borderline harassing me asking super personal and intrusive questions despite my requests for him to "move on" from the subject. I felt beleaguered and didn't go back for my results, such was my shock. My first consultation with him was long and I got to ask many questions, however, the following occasions were very confusing and I felt that he was changing his mind for my diagnosis all the time and laughing at me when I asked questions about treatment. He was also constantly late. I felt disrespected and will never recommend this doctor to anyone. I am considering making a formal complaint.

I have a completely different opinion. I felt listened to and that my complex problems were in good hands and instantly understood. I felt communication was good and sensitive and options were discussed with me to make a decision that has really benefitted me.
