I was diagnosed following a PET scan and abiopsy taken from a lymph node in my neck with Adenocarcenoma in Oct 2017. Following analysis of the biopsy bio markers it was thought I might benefit form the fairly new procedure Immunatherapy, to receive 60 Intravenus injections spaced over a two year period. I was extreemly fortunate in that Dr. Bezechny was able to arrange this treatment for me. I'm still here and throughout the seven years I have been under this consultant's care I have had some ups and downs with other symptoms coming into play. Lately a metastatis on the brain for goodness sake, but Dr. Bezechny has always been a conscientious listener and has guided me through some difficult times. I am now unfortunately going to be transferred to another Consultant so I will dearly miss his solicitude and care. Thanks Dr. Bezechny
I cannot praise Dr Bezecny enough. I am through the other side of breast cancer, and he made sure I had the best chance with his prescribed chemo regime. It’s not an easy journey, but he was with me every step of the way. I felt he listened, completely understood me, and cared. I could not have asked for more. Thank you!! .
Mr Bezecny is without doubt one of the main reasons my wife is still on the right side of her breast cancer fight, from the first moment we met him he showed a wonderful empathy and professionalism. We have every faith in him and he is a credit to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, long may he continue to help people at their time of need.
I was a stage 4 inoperable patient when I saw Dr Bezecny earlier this year. We discussed the limited options, and decided to go for broke, with 18 weeks chemotherapy in one go. It paid off and I became operable. Whilst not cured, the pathology after the operation showed that the tumour had shrunk dramatically and that the 14 nodes removed had no cancer in them. Result!!
So thanks again the Dr Bezecny ... a good oncologist.
Dr Bezecny is a wonderful Oncologist. He has all the time in the world for you and his great personality, tinged with some humour, helps you to cope. He says it as it is but with a very caring and understanding manner. Dr Bez is helping me to deal with stage 4 breast cancer and malignant pleural effusion. He is such a positive person and I wouldn't have got this far without him.
