Thank goodness we saw Dr J! I took my sister to see him yesterday. She was seeking answers for severe pain and he was brilliant. He listened, examined and gave solutions- definitely recommend. We both liked him very much.

I found Dr Jackson unwelcoming, dismissive and rather abrupt. He spent more time describing the best type of running trainers rather than the reason I had been referred. He made some very inappropriate and irrelevant remarks that had nothing to with the reason I was there.I left feeling belittled and disillusioned.

I have seen Mr Jackson on two occasions following an abnormal brain MRI; he neither welcomed me nor introduced himself. Although he was quite friendly as the appointment progressed, I found his manner abrupt, dismissive and brusque. Thankfully, I was discharged by the Neurology Team but a more sensitive and empathetic approach is needed in these situations.

I came in to see Dr Jackson after a collapse . I had fallen on my left side obv hitting my head and had some major concerns about concentration and memory . I had 2 MRI scans as on the first their was an abnormality on the white matter . When I got to my appointment 1- Dr Jackson had not even bothered to read my notes or look at the MRI scans - my husband prompted him to do so . 2- He did not ask why I was there , I felt I was wasting his time . He did not ask if I had any questions . 3- I have not had anything answered as to why their is an abnormality on my brain and I’m not sure if that has anything to do with what I’m exoeriencing . 4- Was more bothered about general chit chat and ironing ! 5 - I’m left now in the same situation as I was in before I went with new answers . 6- He moaned about other Drs and kept referring back to my type 1 which is currently being dealt with by the brilliant team at Wycombe and has been since I collapsed which was totally unprofessional as I wasn’t there about my type 1 and I didn’t want to hear about his thoughts on other members I’d staff . I would never recommend him and my husband and myself are disgusted with the way the appointment was handled .
