I was seen by this doctor. He was extremely dismissive. Even though he received a recommendation from a specialist to do some checks, he disregarded them. I come from a different country, I was even asked if in my country we pay for medical services. I do not recommend this doctor.

We went to show our daughter for a persistent cough and cold. He was very dismissive and did not even spend time to listen to us. When we told us that our child has allergies and a certain medication works, he told us to buy it off the shelf, whilst not even knowing that the medication is not available off the shelf. We had to inform him that its not available without a prescription, which he then grudgingly prescribed. When a patient knows more than a doc about medications, it says a lot.

Whilst I am pleased that another person thought Dr. Abbas warranted 5 stars, my experience was very different. I do understand that appointments can be late but the totally dismissive apology to the back of my head was, I believe, an indication of this medics arrogance. I was simply an irritation that he had to endure before he could get on to another patient. Empathy, interest and understanding were sadly not evident. I believe the appointment did not pass 7 minutes. I do not feel that Dr. Mark Abbas is as God like as he himself feels.

I saw Dr Abbas last week. I recently moved surgeries and get very nervous about seeing new doctors. He was friendly, took his time to listend carefully and really cared about what I had to say. The nicest doctor I have ever been seen by. Thank you!
