Disgraceful attitude, rushed appointment made to feel like I had nothing wrong with me n it was in my head ( not even had scans then!) had scans showing chiari malformation and cervical osteoarthritis with myelopathy!! What she didn't see was six weeks before I stepped into her office I woke up and couldn't stand up and in intense pain(felt like I had been hit by a bus) my partner had to carry me, dress me, wash me everything I lost feeling in my right side this lasted 4 weeks up and then I seen her at 6 weeks still with loss of control in my arm and milder physical pain. She just assumed I was ok on my first visit because I looked ok......I cried when I left her office that day that she didn't believe what had happened to me. I then had no choice but to hope for something in scan results. Which I got!! So many great doctors at that hospital she for one should take a leaf out of their book because she definitely isn't one of the better ones..... I live in daily pain in fear of going to see her again..... sad but true!!!!

I saw more Doctors than I can remember over 6 days in calderdale royal. They were all good people and doing their best in difficult circumstances with very limited resources. But Dr WK was exceptional. She instantly knew what was wrong and how to solve it. She was the first person to totally understand what could be causing my headache. I wish I had longer to talk with her or to see her again as I felt the printed recommendations that I was given when leaving hospital did not fully reflect what she said and as I had memory lapses with the headache I need clarification from her

I left my appointment extremely upset. Dr Kryjak jumps to conclusions without asking questions. She told me I must go to bed and get up at the same time every day (impossible). I must not have tea or coffee (I dont anyway), I must exercise (I do anyway). She was adamant I try a medication that i previously took for over a year despite me giving her a thorough explanation of why i did not want it again. She mentioned the medication over and over again completely ignoring me. She was exasperated because i could not remember the dosage of all the meds i had previously taken. At the end of the appointment she just sat and stared at me. I am dreading my next appointment. I have rarely experienced such disrespect at an appointment which i must add was a full hour late!!!

Mmm where do I start. My mother came to see this lady neurologist Firstly she said she couldn't open my mum's records on the computer. My mothers appointment was January 2016 around the 12th. Her condition had drastically taken its toll on her. She had had numerous tests but still no diagnosis. My mother asked this Dr if what she had was terminal "No" was the doctors reply. On the 23rd January 2016 my mother passed away. She died of Motor Neurone disease. We all had a a very good idea due to the severity of her symptoms. This Dr diagnosed my mother after her death. My poor mother suffered upto her death, there was no care plan for her no nothing. My mum was 63. I feel sad that she was left to suffer because this neuroligist couldn't be bothered. I know MND is a hard illness to diagnose but all the symptoms were there. My mother couldn't walk, speak, eat,, hardly breathe. She might as well as not bothered getting any care because I feel she didn't receive it!!!!!

We have found Dr Kryjack to be very professional and thorough in her work and investigations. She works very hard and yes often her clinics do run over and waiting times might be long but that is due to her dedication to each patient she sees. If it was not for her expertise and knowledge my husband would not have been helped with the rare condition he was diagnosed with. He is not 100 % cured but would not be here at all if it wasn't for her.Thank you Dr Kryjak and the NHS
