I have just found this site, totally by accident. Luke Hughes-Davies was my consultant oncologist 10 years ago and I have never felt in better hands. He would stop and talk in corridors, calling them his “corridor consultations’ - following one particular scare he spent an hour reassuring my husband and I that all was well. I have since left Cambridgeshire and moved 400 miles away and, still, my one worry will always be that he is not just down the road should anything else happen, even though I am still cancer free.

Excellent explanation of my condition, treated me like a person. Extremely knowledgeable and made me feel like I was in the very best hands possible.

Luke made my initial cancer diagnosis so much easier, my cancer journey was focused on the positives and now I'm essentially cancer free - he's even more positive about it staying that way, which keeps me sane. He rolls facts off the tip of his tongue that settle you almost instantly. He keeps you calm, listens to your concerns and gives you the instant green light to trust exactly what he's saying. From someone with trust issues that's pretty big too! My whole cancer journey has been so much easier and smoother with Luke Hughes-Davies than I expected to cancer to be. So thank you Luke for all your help and I'd highly recommend you to everyone.

This man is an inspiration listen's, understands and above all else keeps it simple. When you are facing complicated times Dr Luke as I fondly named him, did not bang on in long words. He kept it all real and understandable. Which is important when facing Cancer. If ever you find yourself under his care the man will have your corner for sure.
