Dr Kingston cared for my daughter in theatre during emergency surgery for appendicitis. We cannot praise her highly enough. During a very worrying procedure Dr Kingston made me feel completely safe and confident that she was in good hands, she very quickly and efficiently explained exactly what would happen, what was normal so as not to be concerned. She was super child friendly and was able to manage my parental anxiety, distract my daughter and make her feel comfortable and efficiently and confidently do her job. She followed up after the procedure and reassured us, we feel our daughters pain was well managed and we can’t thank her enough.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I really enjoy trying to make surgical care as relaxed as possible, especially for children and their families. Good explanation can go a long way towards reducing anxiety and helping families understand what to expect. I am glad to hear your daughter's pain was well managed and that she had a good experience. I wish her well for her recovery.

From the moment I met Liz I felt at ease. Her presence is very calming and she knows how to make you feel relaxed. Liz went above and beyond throughout my whole experience of being in hospital. I am so grateful Liz listened to my concerns and got to the bottom of my issues. I couldn’t say one negative comment about Liz, she is a brilliant Doctor and I’m very fortunate i fell into her care. She doesn’t need to improve on anything in my opinion. Thankyou Liz :)

Thank you for your very kind comments. I make it a personal point to try to put my patients at ease wherever possible and to listen to their concerns. I know I always feel safer and more comfortable if my healthcare providers listen to my worries and answer them honestly. I hope you are recovering well.

She is very kind and considerate. She was right there by the side of me throughout my cesarean section. She made sure I was as comfortable as I could be, reassured me and kept me updated as to where the surgeon's where up to. She is also an incredibly friendly woman. She did a fantastic job of my spinal and worked hard to keep me pain free. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Thank you for your kind feedback, and for taking the time so soon after your delivery. I'm really glad to hear you felt reassured and kept up to date with progress during your surgery. I think that taking the time to explain what to expect, and what is happening can make all the difference to a person's experience, and help them feel calmer. I wish you well for your post op recovery.

I was a guest at St Helens Spa Hospital on the 13-01-2020. All of the staff were friendly, well trained and very efficient. The drugs given can only be described as ACE leaving me with no knowledge/pain during my leg wax and other procedures. Have suffered no after effects as the medication wore off. From the moment you check in to when you leave you are being constantly monitored and informed on all aspects of your care. It's always a little scary when you have to go to Hospital But St Helens do all they can to put you at ease.
