He appears to know his job very well.
His diagnosis was clear and well presented.
I was referred to the TIA Clinic at Leicester Royal Infirmary. I thought Dr Musarrat was extremely thorough and very pleasant. My treatment in the TIA clinic could not have been better, I was seen extremely quickly and all tests completed and the diagnosis delivered in approx. two hours. I was told to prepare to be there for the day. People complain about the NHS but I have nothing but praise following my visit.
I saw Dr Musarrat in the LRI one-stop TIA and Minor Stroke Clinic. He was very professional and helpful. He took a thorough case history, explained what examinations were going to happen and then later gave the outcomes. He spoke clearly and gave the opportunity for myself and my husband to ask questions. He prescribed improved medication and the clinic supplied it there and then. He arranged for a further ECG and also booked me a follow up appointment at TIA. Overall I felt I had been treated thoroughly, kindly and well.
Was referred to TIA clinic following a visit to A and E. All members of staff were courteous caring and informative. Dr Musarrat and deputy sister Maria were specially so. No one looks forward to a visit to this clinic but the staff make sure it is trouble free as possible with the demands on their time.
This doctor is kind, considerate, caring, totally professional, his very best care, is friendly, gives the impression that he is doing his best care for you, totally listens. I could add a lot more but just to say if you go to the Stroke department you will NOT get better care under this doctor. He NEVER rushes and you can see that he is assessing the situation while you are speaking.
Thank you Dr Musarrat. I came out feeling extremely satisfied. How lucky the LRI are to have him.
