Dr Southwood is very good at listening to me and understanding my needs. She regularly makes sure that my medication is suiting my needs and adjusting if the medication is no longer working. She does my steroid injections for both my knees and when necessary determines whenever I need to continue with them or go to hospital for a knee op

Dr, Southwood is very calm and doesn't make me feel rushed out of the surgery. She listened very well and gave clear advice about my problem. I had two telephone appointments with Dr. Southwood because I needed advice and she quickly took away my worries and told me how to deal with the problem. I have also seen her in her surgery and she arranged blood tests and an Xray to be sure what was wrong. I felt truly confident that she was looking after me and when I went back after the Xray and blood tests she explained to me really carefully the results and how to look after the problem.

I very much appreciated getting an extra prescription so I can start medication when I feel a chest infection coming on without having to wait fro an appointment. A good innovation. I felt welcomed and listened to.

Dr Southwood is a fantastic GP, always professional, patient, prepare to listen and give an informed advice. I like her friendly approach to me as a patient. She keeps me well informed about the proposed treatment and always answers all of my questions clearly and promptly. I would recommned this GP to anyone.
