Review

I have been in severe pain for several years now with lots of skeletal deterioration across the spine and joints. Dr Bashir has dealt with professionally in all the treatment options but has really listened and understood my needs and the impact of the disability on my life and my families. I would add that he has supported my emotional needs, which have been affected by the pain, frustration and fatigue. I don’t know where I would have been now without his treatment, support and knowledge. Totally recommended.

Response from the doctor - Thankyou for your review. It’s vitally important that as healthcare professionals we receive feedback so we can continue to strive to provide the best care possible to our patients.

I have suffered from degenerating back pain and osteoarthritis across multiple joints. This has affected both my work and personal life. He has from the first visit always listen and focus on me as an individual offering advice, treatments and honesty. His manner is friendly and calming whilst dealing with very difficult topics.

Response from the doctor - Many Thanks for your review. I strive to offer my patients the very best care and this feedback is much appreciated.

Unbelievable service from Dr Bashir. He’s a very welcoming doctor who has helped so much with my trigger points and has really listened to everything I’ve had to say and given me lots of advice to help improve my chronic pain. I would 100% recommend him.

I came into my operation quite nervous as I have a phobia of needles. As my Anaesthetist Dr Bashir took his time to explain what he was going to do, showed a real interest in me, was so considerate he really put me at ease. Together with the staff nurse Vicky they kept me talking about my favourite things and before I knew it my Cannula was in and I was going sleep. The next thing I remember was being in recovery and being told the operation has been smooth and successful. The operation could not have gone any better and I would like to thank Dr Bashir for his kindness and his professionalism. He really made what could have been a real ordeal for me much easier. Thank you.

Dr Bashir was really great when I had to see him in the pain clinic. He listened and clearly understood what I was trying to get across to him and offered helpful advice when I was at my lowest.

Dr Bashir is fabulous! He listens. He noticed something on one of my scans that others had missed. He has a wonderful way of finding out the problems and agreeing an effective plan of action. He is always on time and has time to administer a caring and realistic way forward. He builds an excellent rapport and uses and appreciates a good sense of humour. In a nutshell he is indeed fabulous!

I want to thank Dr Bashir for the lidocain infusion I had in August of 2018 at southlands hospital the result was quite life changing as I was able to cross my legs, turn over in bed,go to the loo without pain, laugh, cough, and generally get through the day without being in chronic pain. The effect of the infusion lasted about 4-5 months before the pain comes back so am looking forward to my next infusion, many many thanks for this life changing procedure.
