Dr Cornish helped guide my husband and myself through a very difficult time when my husband had a one off manic episode brought on by immense stress due to cancer and various operations. Dr Cornish worked with us both and gave me as a very concerned spouse as much time as I needed to ask questions and really get to understand what was going on during a very traumatic time for our whole family. All the staff at Cygnet Lodge were very kind and patient and apart from the occasional confusion with communication we were very happy with how my husband was cared for.

Dr Cornish is kind, caring and puts his patients needs first. He also communicates well with the patient's family to keep them informed of current treatment plans.

Doctor Cornish is absolutely brilliant, words alone can’t describe how awesome he is, he is so welcoming, empathetic, caring, trustworthy , thorough and really wants the best for his patients. He took time to get to know me, work out my illness and treat me accordingly he looked at my problems with a holistic approach and enabled me to be involved with my own care plan, Dr Cornish is a complete gentleman a man of full integrity and he works so hard from beginning to end and treats his patients like people. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for how brilliant he is and how calm and understanding he is. He is an amazing man and a great doctor it was a pleasure to be cared for by him all staff and patients echo how amazing he is. If you get the chance to be treated by him you are well and truly blessed. I’m so blessed he was my psychiatrist I can’t thank him enough. Review by Adam Landen

I was particularly appreciative of Dr Cornish's care in explaining my son's illness, positively involving me in the weekly reviews and responding promptly to emails. I believe that my son felt safe under his care and made good progress towards recovery.

Dr Cornish has completely changed my life for the better! After years of being brushed off by many mental health practitioners, finally a Dr that not only listened but diagnosed and treated me in the space of an hour! It's now been 5 months since I started my treatment and I can honestly say my life and mental health has never been so good. I have a zest for life I was beginning to think I would have again. I'm in control and and making plans for the first time in years. Both Dr Cornish and his team have made it easy for me to make appointments and get my medication and have steered me remotely through and extremely difficult time. Thank you so much!

That is very kind of you to leave such a glowing review - I am sorry your experience with other mental health professionals has not been as good, and am happy that on this occasion it has led to such a great improvement. I have passed your comments on to the team as well, because they are a crucial part of what I do. I wish you the very best for the future.
