I arrived at kingston royal eye unit on friday the 9th of august for a cataract removal ,Dr kar came to see me he was kind considerate and kept me involved at every stage on what the procedure entailed, the nurses and staff were also brilliant, i would recomend Dr Kar any day of the week he was great, and kingston royal eye unit do a great job they are all angels. This doctor was very friendly and I immediately felt relaxed. He went through what he had written on my notes and explained the jargon to me which was very helpful and something that I have never had before. He listened to my thoughts and feelings and I felt I could trust him. I would highly recommend this Dr.

I was looked after by Dr Kar when I had my second baby by cesarean section. I met with Dr Kar prior to my c section, as my previous c section had been complicated with a bowel injury. Therefore we discussed my previous c section and how I would need both spinal and epidural as it was envisaged that the c section would take longer than usual this time. I was very anxious about the epidural as last time the experience was not great, however Dr Kar put my anxieties at ease, with his calm and open communication. On the day of my c section Dr Kar saw me on the ward, and once in the operating theatre he explained everything he would be doing to myself and my husband. Dr Kar was extremely competent and confident throughout the whole procedure, and really cared for and monitored me until the operation was over. Dr Kar came and visited me the following morning to check I had not had any adverse reactions to the epidural, such as headaches, prior to him starting his days work. I was very appreciative of his visit as it showed that he really cares about his patients. I could not fault him throughout my whole experience.
