Dr Bettany is such a great human being and a great sympathetic and softly spoken gentleman. I have a great deal of respect for him. He saved my life when I came in emergency in August 2022 in KGH.

I saw Dr Bettany privately at the Spire Hospital in Brentwood. I had a colonoscopy, ultra sound, blood test and a gastroscopy. He explained every step and I had a grand tour of my bowel (with narration) which I found very interesting. He is very thorough and I felt very competent in hos work.

Dr Bettany is a fantastic doctor in his field of practice and would highly recommend him and would not hesitate in contacting again in the future if necessary

Have been with Dr Bettany for years.
He is a good Dr but can sometimes be a bit tetchy which is a shame.
I take each appointment at a time now as to what mood he is going to be in. Over the last year 2019 I dont feel I can talk to him anymore for fear of being talked down to or having what I feel about my illness being dismissed.
It didn't used to be this way, maybe his clinic is too busy and he doesn't have the time he used to, to listen.
What ever the reason I no longer bother to discuss stuff with him and just go to get my tests done, say I'm fine, thanks and leave.
