I can't fault Dr Kidd on any level. He listens intently He is very thorough in his diagnostics. He is easy to talk to & maintains eye content so one knows he's listening. Most of all he diagnosed my PLS after suffering for 20 years each episide longer & more severe only to be told, at that time, it was psychogenic. Having been treated by Dr kidd i am distressed that that i wasn't told that he had left the Royal Free ot only came to light when i queried why i hadn't had received an appointment what i did get however was an appointment for opthalmology which was welcome & was told i would have a speedy op on both eyes. That was some time ago but no appointment yet nor an appointment⁰ in respect of my PLS

Back in 2013 I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr Desmond Kidd by my Rheumatology Consultant. I had been suffering from multi-system Sarcoidosis for years which had previously been undetected and misdiagnosed. I travelled a 600 mile round trip to see Dr Kidd whom I regard as the most wonderful healthcare professional I have ever met. Thanks to his support I was successful in obtaining the funding enabling me to receive the treatment I needed to alleviate my illness. This has bought me time, time enough to witness my 5 grand children come into this world. I have Dr Kidd to thank for which I'm so grateful and feel truly humbled. His knowledge, expertise and dedication are remarkable. I wish he could be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Dr Kidd has been seeing my son with Neuro Behcets since 2019 and has always been very helpful kind and has a really good listening ear. He will answer any question you ask and give an answer that you can understand instead of medical talk that is too much to take in for most people. He appears to have a wealth of knowledge and the consultant we see locally is also top notch and they liase regarding any care my son recieves. I feel blessed to have him and feel happy leaving knowing the best treatment is being recieved. Well done Dr Kidd and thank you .

After many years of unexplained health issues and being treated for lots of ‘so called’ individual conditions, I finally got the help required when my local rheumatologist recognised Sarcoidosis symptoms. My GP then referred me to Dr Kidd for his specialist opinion on my neurological symptoms and I have received the professional care I needed from Dr Kidd who clearly understands Sarcoidosis and the many different faces with which It shows itself. After fighting for several years to get to the bottom of my health issues, finding Dr Kidd was a godsend and I can’t thank Dr Kidd enough for all his help and understanding, both individually and through joint care with my local rheumatologist who I have to say is the only other person who recognised this disease in me. I hope I can continue to receive Dr Kidd’s help so that I can continue my journey to better health. We need Dr Kidd and other trained professionals to help with this disease which is widely misunderstood so that people don’t have to suffer unnecessarily.

Dr kidd has given me hope, he listened to me he believed me and he had organised a series of tests and funding from the nhs so I can have these tests in London as I’m in wales, My GP has done nothing in 5 years of complaining about my health, I did my research and found Dr Kidd and I cannot thank him enough for going above and beyond to help me, And hope I can continue to be seen by him,
